DENTAL CHAIR AND EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE CLASSES

One of the most important and basic necessities for a young dental graduate to start practice is a dental chair and other equipment. As the young dental graduate’s practice flourishes, routine wear and tear occurs in the dental chair and equipment that he/she uses in day to day practice. Keeping this in mind, one of the objectives of Hazaribag College of Dental Sciences & Hospital is to ensure that the students passing out from this institution should never face any issue with regard to the problems associated with regular wear and tear of the dental chair and other dental equipment. To fulfill this endeavor the institute conducts one of its kind (in entire India) classes on monthly basis titled Dental Chair and Equipment Maintenance class for the interns of this institute. In these classes, the interns are taught by faculty in association with dental chair technicians on the nuances of maintenance of dental chair and equipment, and conduct minor repairs of dental chair and equipment. These classes will help the students in running an effective dental practice in their future, and ensures that their day to day practice is not affected by any breakdown of the dental chair, its components and other dental equipment.
