Hazaribag College of Dental Sciences and Hospital Shines at the 1st Bihar and Jharkhand Orthodontic Summit 2025
The Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Hazaribag College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, proudly participated in the 1st Bihar and Jharkhand Orthodontic Summit 2025, held at Buddha Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Patna, in association with the Indian Orthodontic Society during October 2025.
The prestigious event brought together eminent speakers, distinguished faculty members, postgraduate students from various dental colleges, and practicing orthodontists from across the region. Under the expert guidance of Professor & Head Dr. Anshu Sahu, along with Associate Professors Dr. Raghu Ranjan Prasad, Dr. Shovan Roy, and Senior Lecturer Dr. Parul Priya, postgraduate students from the department actively participated in various scientific sessions and presentations.
A special moment of pride for the institution came when Dr. Ria Jhariat, 2nd-year postgraduate student, secured the Second Prize in the Scientific Poster Presentation, showcasing academic excellence and innovation among peers from reputed dental institutions.
The department’s active participation and recognition at this summit highlight its commitment to academic growth, research, and clinical excellence in the field of orthodontics.
