ANTI-RAGGING ORIENTATION PROGRAMME
An Anti-Ragging Orientation Programme was conducted for the BDS and MDS students on 11th February 2026 at Lecture Hall-2, Hazaribag College of Dental Sciences & Hospital, from 11:00 A.M. onwards.
The programme was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Shruti Vishal Dev, Hon’ble Member, Dental Council of India. The Principal, Prof. (Dr.) K. Sri Krishna, formally welcomed the guest speaker.
Dr. Shruti Vishal Dev delivered an awareness lecture on anti-ragging and explained in detail the legal aspects and punishable consequences of ragging. She also highlighted the role and importance of the Anti-Ragging Committee, Anti-Ragging Squad, and National Anti-Ragging Helpline. The students were sensitized about maintaining discipline, mutual respect, and a healthy academic environment within the campus.
The session provided students with comprehensive knowledge regarding the prevention of ragging and encouraged them to contribute towards creating a safe and friendly atmosphere in the institution. The programme marked an important step in promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity in the college.
At the end of the session, a memento of appreciation was presented to the guest speaker by Prof. (Dr.) K. Sri Krishna, Principal, and Dr. Ankur Bhargava, Vice-Principal as a token of gratitude.
