International Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of Dr. Ginwala, the first Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon of India. On this occasion, the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Hazaribag College of Dental Sciences & Hospital, organized a commemorative programme on 13th February 2026.

On this occasion, Dr. Shweta Saw, who secured the highest marks in Oral Surgery in the UG Final Year Examination, was felicitated and awarded a certificate in recognition of her academic excellence and dedication.
The programme concluded successfully with active participation from faculty, students, and patients, reinforcing the importance of oral health awareness in the community.
