Spreading Smiles on World Health Day!

On the occasion of World Health Day, the Department of Public Health Dentistry at Hazaribag College of Dental Sciences organized a special awareness program at a government school in Bhilwara. The initiative aimed to promote oral hygiene awareness among children and encourage healthy habits from an early age.

During the program, students and faculty members actively engaged with the children, educating them about the importance of maintaining good oral health. As part of the initiative, oral health kits were distributed, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other essentials to help children take proper care of their teeth.

One of the key highlights of the event was a demonstration of proper brushing techniques, where final-year students guided children on the correct way to brush their teeth. The children participated enthusiastically and showed great interest in learning these essential skills.

Additionally, a Mass Brushing activity was conducted, where all the students brushed their teeth together, taking a collective step toward better hygiene. This activity was both educational and enjoyable, leaving a lasting impression on the young participants.

The program successfully conveyed a simple yet powerful message—healthy smiles lead to a healthy life. It was a meaningful effort toward spreading awareness and ensuring brighter, healthier smiles for the future.
