Human Anatomy, Histology & Embryology

Anatomy is the study of the structure of an object, in this case the human body. Human anatomy deals with the way the parts of humans, from molecules to bones; interact to form a functional unit.

Physiology

It is the science of the function of the living systems . The

scientific method is applied to determine how organisms, organ systems, organs, cells and bio -molecules carry out chemical or physical functions.

General Pathology & Microbiology

Pathology involves the study of the abnormalities causing diseases, while microbiology is the study of micro-organisms which are involved in causing diseases and infections.

Biochemistry

Deals with the complex chemical reaction cycles involved in the body process.

Pharmacology

This is study of drugs used for treatment purpose. Their action effect on the body is studied under this subject.

General Medicine

It is the study of various medicines, their effect on the diseases as well as on the body that occurs concomitantly.

General Surgery

The subject teaches the basic principles of surgery using operative procedures. Dentistry being a surgical branch, the basic principles is necessary for improving surgical skills. Along with theoretical knowledge, students are exposed to clinical case study in hospital.
